The Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau (SWIDB) held its annual Knowledge Fair on the 3rd of May 2023 at the Magiliw Auditorium in the DSWD Central Office.The featured topics in the Knowledge Fair focused on the Department’s initiatives on Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and the Quality Management System (QMS).

In line with its objective of instituting strengthened social protection in the new normal, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) hosted an online policy forum on March 6, 2023 as a venue for sharing of studies and new concepts by experts from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), and the Food and Agriculture Organization-World Food Programme (FAO-WFP).

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the focal agency representing the Philippines in the ASEAN Sectoral Body on Social Welfare and Development, hosted the virtual consultation in cooperation with the ASEAN Social Work Consortium, the ASEAN Secretariat and with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) East Asia and Pacific Regional Office.
