LXD 101: Training of Trainers and Coaching Sessions on Designing Learning Experiences for Social Welfare and Development (SWD) Programs and other Support Initiatives

LXD 101 is a three-part learning engagement that will be held from June 13-July 15 and implemented through a blended learning methodology. As such, this workshop for internal staff will be focusing on enhancing Communication Strategies and Plan Development for Devolved SWD Programs. During the workshop, there will be Field Validation and Coaching Sessions, and Learning Experience Design Development. This LDI aims to support learning and enable the integration of communications plans as well as the application of the concepts and tools essential in designing learning experiences.

2022 DSWD Knowledge Fair: Learning Sessions on the Intellectual Property Policy

The three-day learning session on the Intellectual Property Policy in the Government Setting is intended for the Information Officers and Knowledge Management focals in the DSWD Offices, Bureaus, Services, and Units (OBSUs) and Field Offices (FOs). This activity aims to provide guidance on how the DSWD can develop its Intellectual Property Policy based on the Republic Act No. 8293 or Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. An IP expert from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines will serve as a resource person in this learning session.

#UsapangSWD Run 2: Conversation on the Enhancement of TARA Provision Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Processes and Systems

This series aims to gather good practices from the different program owners, implementers, and other technical assistance providers of the Department, which will be used to capacitate the Local Government Units (LGUs) capacity in implementing SWD programs and services.

Note: This activity is only for DSWD Program Owners (particularly managers and field implementers combined) and other performing Field Offices as endorsed by program owners and other selected OBS

Orientation on the DSWD Handbook of Style

The Orientation on the DSWD Handbook of Style was conducted on 9-10 November 2021 through zoom. The activity was participated by 48 DSWD Central Office and Field Office Staff. The Handbook of Style was developed through the leadership of SWID-B. The Handbook serves as a guide for the Department in establishing consistency in written outputs.

Knowledge Fair 2021 The DSWD Knowledge Fair is annual event for knowledge sharing on broad topics ranging from different issues, trends, technology and innovations happening within the social welfare and development landscape.
