Certificate Course on Disaster Response: Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) | The training on CCCM is very relevant to the LGUs who are the frontliner in implementing this at the local level. The training aims to provide updates for the training participants on the implementation of CCCM to be aligned with international standards on disaster response. Specifically, the Local Social Welfare and Development Office social workers will benefit from this training since they are the camp managers in evacuation centers. This training will enhance their competencies as camp managers.

Writeshop for the Development of Social Marketing Operations Manual | The activity is a 5-day workshop aimed at developing/crafting the Social Marketing Operations Manual that would institutionalize the operations of the SMS along social marketing and other communication-related activities. This will be attended by the technical staff from SMS, the Information Officers of OBS in the Central Office, and the Regional Information Officers of the Field Offices.

Training-Workshop on Gender Fair Language Manual Development | This is a 4-day training workshop with the information officers and Gender and Development (GAD) focal persons of the DSWD aimed at addressing gender issues in the Department which affects the communication side. Likewise, the activity aimed at crafting/developing a gender-fair language manual to be used by the Department across regions and in all programs/projects. Specifically, the output of this training workshop will guide the employees and program implementers in gender sensitive terminologies and communication activities.

LXD 101: Training of Trainers and Coaching Sessions on Designing Learning Experiences for Social Welfare and Development (SWD) Programs and other Support Initiatives | LXD 101 is a three-part learning engagement that will be held from June 13-July 15 and implemented through a blended learning methodology. As such, this workshop for internal staff will be focusing on enhancing Communication Strategies and Plan Development for Devolved SWD Programs. During the workshop, there will be Field Validation and Coaching Sessions, and Learning Experience Design Development.
