DSWD rolls out info caravan of social protection programs, services in Cagayan Valley

Originally published in the DSWD website on 16 June 2023   As part of its efforts to bring social protection programs and services closer to its beneficiaries, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) launched another facet of the Information Caravan on Thursday, June 15 in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. In partnership with its Field Office II, this year’s Information Caravan was aimed at assisting in the DSWD’s performance target of ensuring the functionality of the Local Social Welfare and Development Offices in the Cagayan Valley Region.

DSWD holds policy forum to discuss new studies, concepts toward inclusive, strengthened social protection

Originally published in the DSWD website on 09 March 2023   In line with its objective of instituting strengthened social protection in the new normal, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) hosted an online policy forum on March 6, 2023 as a venue for sharing of studies and new concepts by experts from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), and the Food and Agriculture Organization-World Food Programme (FAO-WFP).

The DSWD KM Portal is a dynamic facility founded to promote the development and sharing of knowledge within the DSWD and its partners. The Portal has vast collection of DSWD Knowledge Products (KPs) and other learning resources on social welfare and social protection.
