DSWD Knowledge Management (KM) Portal

The DSWD KM Portal is a dynamic facility founded to promote the development and sharing of knowledge within the DSWD and its partners. The Portal has a vast collection of DSWD Knowledge Products (KPs) and other learning resources on social welfare and social protection. It is a multi-faceted approach to managing and sharing print, digital, and audio-visual materials that are user-centered and responsive to the needs of the learning community.

The DSWD KM Portal's website is an interactive and virtual facility designed to provide learning opportunities across borders with its downloadable resources, and databases of communities of practice (CoP).

DSWD Academy, 4Ps and Stairway Foundation Inc. Collaborates on Preventing Child Sexual Abuse E-course

On 26 - 28 February 2025, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) National Program Management Office (NPMO) spearheaded the Writeshop on the Development of Electronic Course on Child Sexual Abuse Protection (CSAP) in collaboration with Stairway Foundation, Incorporated, a Community-based and Residential Resource Learning Center. This activity was participated by 33 participants from the 4Ps Implementers from Field Office National Capital Region, IV-A, MIMAROPA, VIII, Social Technology Bureau (STB), Standards Bureau (SB), Program Management Bureau (PMB), and DSWD Academy.

DSWD Academy Promotes Knowledge Management During Benchmarking of DOLE Regional Office XI

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the DSWD Academy hosted a Knowledge Sharing Session on Knowledge Management (KM) as part of the benchmarking for the 15 participants from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office XI from 19-20 February 2025 at the DSWD Academy facility in Taguig City. The event aimed to enhance DOLE Regional Office XI's KM practices by learning from DSWD's successful implementation of KM systems and mechanisms as a core strategy to enhance the DOLE Region XI’s existing knowledge management practices.  

DSWD, BDO Foundation and BSP Collaborates for Financial Education

The Financial Education Learning Sessions, Demonstration, and Writeshop for the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) was conducted on 12-14 February 2025 at the Belamy House, Makati City with 15 participants from the DSWD. This activity was an initiative through the partnership with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Banco De Oro Foundation that aims to enhance financial literacy and empower both DSWD personnel and beneficiaries.

The Department of Social Welfare & Development continues to showcase its leadership in social protection in Asia and the Indo-Pacific Region through the sharing of its best practices with the visiting officials from Kulhudhufushi City, Republic of Maldives on 12 February 2025.
