Batangas City, Philippines — The DSWD Academy proudly celebrated excellence in public service and commitment to learning and development during the much-anticipated pilot kick-off of Gawad Linang 2025, held on May 15, 2025 at Hotel Pontefino, Batangas City during the Strategic Planning and Team Building of the DSWD Academy.
Anchored on the theme “Pagkilala sa Husay at Paglago”, this year’s Gawad Linang recognized the outstanding efforts and contributions of technical, administrative, and support personnel who have consistently demonstrated integrity, innovation, and leadership in advancing the Academy’s mandate.
Director Justin Ceaser Anthony D. Batocabe, in his message of gratitude, emphasized the importance of recognizing the people behind the Academy's continuous pursuit of capacity building. “Gawad Linang is more than just an awarding ceremony—it’s about celebrating the people who shape the future of social welfare training in the Philippines,” he said.
