DSWD XI Explores Advancing Social Welfare through Research and Collaboration

The DSWD Field Office XI through its Social Welfare and Development Learning Network (SWDLNet) held its Social Welfare and Development (SWD) Forum cum Research Congress last 25 April 2023 at the World Palace Hotel, Ecoland, Davao City. This activity is aligned with the steering function of the Department that provides technical assistance to partners and stakeholders executing programs on SWD and Social Protection. On the other hand, the Research Congress was aligned with the role of the Department as monitor on the implementation of SWD legislations.

Consultation-Dialogue cum updating on New Laws and Issuances with Honorable Judges and Prosecutors of Regional Trial Courts XI

Onse annually gathers judiciaries and legal personalities from the respective Regional Trial Courts for a dialogue and updating of laws and issuance along social welfare programs and services. Honorable Judges and Prosecutors, social welfare officers from the Office of the Clerk of Courts (OCC), Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDO), and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) never failed to commit and actively participate in this greatly anticipated activity.

2021 DSWD Knowledge Fair for LSWDOs: Equipping social welfare program implementers for full devolution

In an effort to prepare the Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDOs) for full devolution, the Department of Social Welfare and Development  (DSWD), through the Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau, conducted the 2021 Knowledge Fair over an online platform to provide a venue for sharing practices, strategies, and initiatives of various offices and social welfare and development partners.
