The Social Welfare and Development Center for Asia and the Pacific (SWADCAP) is one of DSWD’s training facilities and is considered to be the main and largest, to date. SWADCAP has function rooms that accommodate various DSWD activities organized by different Central Offices/Bureaus/ Services as well as nearby DSWD Field Offices like NCR, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA. Other government and non-government agencies’ events are also catered upon availability, considering priority for DSWD activities. The two-floor facility has housed a number of DSWD employees, other government personnel, and private individuals whether they were activity participants or merely transients who needed a room for a night or a few days.
