In this evaluative study conducted by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in behalf of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), we take a look into the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of RA 7432 or the “Senior Citizens Act”. The study sheds light on to areas for action and provides recommendations for amendments to the law, possible directions for future policies and modifications to the implementation of the law in order to better support and protect Filipino older persons.
