Empowering Learning Sessions for Indigenous Peoples Initiative (ELIPI)

The Empowering Learning Sessions for Indigenous Peoples Initiative or ELIPI module was crafted to address the vulnerabilities of the Sama-Bajau to all forms of discrimination and exploitation. It will be used by social workers who manage the cases of Sama Bajaus and other Sama Bajaus who may facilitate ELIPI sessions.

The module focuses on building on the inherent potential and capabilities of the Sama-Bajau by teaching them about their rights and responsibilities and capacitating them to preserve their cultural heritage and develop their self-reliance.
