The Knowledge Management (KM) Portal of Field Office VIII features different KM Mechanisms such as the DSWD Academy; Knowledge Products; Social Welfare and Development Learning Network (SWDL-Net); Core Group of Specialists; Regional Learning Resource Center (RLRC); Bayanihang Bayan Program (BBP); Institutional Development Capability Building (IDCB); Social Welfare and Development (SWD) Forum; and Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA). In addition, the KM Portal of Field Office VIII features downloadable templates and reference materials for different conduct activities.
The innovativeness of the KM Portal of Field Office VIII has led to different commendations and recognition such as the Most Functional KM System in their region. Apart from this, the KM Portal also enhanced visibility and awareness of different KM and capacity-building mechanisms for their internal staff; has improved collaboration and coordination; and streamlined information dissemination and user engagement.
