Gulayan sa Barangay Tungo sa Malusog na Katawan at Dagdag Pangkabuhyan ng Nagkakaisang Pamayan

In this good practice documentation, DSWD Field Office NCR documented the integration of community organizing (CO) approach in the implementation of Gulayan sa Barangay (GSB) in the region. GSB entails the participation of Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries in the backyard, communal, container gardens as one of the strategic responses to food insecurity and unemployment. Through the CO approach, the GSB has become a community-driven initiative which looks further in strengthening the capacity and empowering the Pantawid Pamilya farmers.
