Golden Mauban: A Good Practice Documentation on the Exemplary Functionality of the Mauban Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO)

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) envisions that all local social welfare and development offices will be fully functional by 2030. In 2016, the Mauban MSWDO has achieved a Fully Functional Gold Level rating on the assessment conducted by DSWD. It is through their innovative Mauban CARES (Committed, Aware, Responsible, Empowering and Service) program – which represents the social work values they promote; that they have achieved this accolade. The Mauban MSWDO has implemented a strategy that focuses on the welfare of their staff, the mobilization of community volunteers and ensuring the sustainability of the programs they implement to achieve their Gold Level rating.
