In this good practice documentation, DSWD Field Office X developed its own encoding application system known as the Offline Social Amelioration Program (OSAP) Encoding System Application in response to the challenges encountered in the implementation of SAP. This creation of the system resulted to faster Social Amelioration Card (SAC) encoding of the LGUs, systematic elimination of invalid data entries, and easier consolidation of SAC data into CSV format for uploading to the online SAP information system.
