The compendium is a collection of innovative, responsive, and replicable examples of measures taken in the operations of DSWD Residential Care Facilities. Largely, the compendium examines several issues that are often present in the provision of protective and rehabilitative services and offers clear strategies in developing bases of support from the surrounding communities and partners. It exhibits how knowledge management is unified with process management to achieve process improvement in DSWD. It showcases the initiatives of the Centers/ Residential Care Facilities (C/RCFs) in enhancing the Department's existing information systems and processes and customizing these to fit their needs in the region.
