The Filipino Social Worker's Day 2022

Philippine Social Workers’ Day Celebration with the theme “Resilient Filipino Social Workers: Moving Toward the New Socio Economic, Political, Cultural and Environmental Challenges” will be held on 19 June 2022, (Sunday) at 9:00 AM via a virtual conference platform (Zoom).

The DSWD in collaboration with the ASEAN Social Work Consortium-Philippines (ASWC-Ph) conducts the celebration of the Filipino Social Workers’ Day every June 19 in recognition of the hard work and commitment of the social workers in serving the Filipino people and in bringing about societal change. Said conduct will also be able to promote and develop social work as a profession, promote of greater support from policymakers to the role of social work in social development, and formal recognition on the enhancement of the social work profession. This is based on the Proclamation No. 1176 declaring June 19, of every year as Filipino Social Workers’ Day.
