Capability Building (CB)

Yes. Typically, training, courses and LDIs developed are submitted to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for CPD accreditation, if they fall under the following types of interventions: Formal learning, non-formal learning, informal learning, self-directed learning, online learning activities, professional work experience and attendance to conventions and conferences by accredited organizations.
Yes. All of the training and courses provided by the Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau are free of charge. However, some trainings may require participants to deliver certain outputs in order to qualify for a certificate.

The DSWD KM Portal is a dynamic facility founded to promote the development and sharing of knowledge within the DSWD and its partners. The Portal has vast collection of DSWD Knowledge Products (KPs) and other learning resources on social welfare and social protection.
